This Level 1 Diploma Programme is designed to give an introduction to the Beauty sector and the practical elements used within the Industry. The qualification has been designed for ages 14-16 to develop communication skills, knowledge and practical skills in order to then progress onto a Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy.
By Completing the Level 1 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Learners will experience working in a real life salon environment in order to gain the experience they need to become confident when working on members of the public whilst covering a range of skin and nail concerns.
This course includes both practical and theory elements to which will be adapted to suit individual learning styles. Some course work will be required to complete at home however full support from the class trainer will always be at hand.

The course is designed for just 4 students at one time to ensure a more individual and personal learning experience carried out by a professional and highly qualified trainer and assessor. Designed for those wishing to enter into a salon or spa environment or for those pursuing with a self employed status, the course will give you both the knowledge and practical skills gained within a real life salon environment.
Each unit will be delivered to suit your individual learning style to ensure maximum benefits both in theory and practical. Along with theory delivery, you will carryout practical assessments on paying customers to gain experience and knowledge on different client expectations. All practical work will be completed inside the classroom and salon environment however some written assignments will be required to completed at home.

Level 3 Diploma In Beauty Therapy
This programme is the ideal progression route for those wishing to pursue a career in either a salon, spa or as a mobile therapist. This in depth training course will teach you the holistic avenue within the industry as well as the application of Individual Lash Extensions and Tanning Techniques, an overall qualification to class you as a senior within your role.
Each unit will be delivered to suit your individual learning style to ensure maximum benefits both in theory and practical. Along with theory delivery, you will carryout practical assessments on paying customers to gain experience and knowledge on different client expectations. All practical work will be completed inside the classroom and salon environment however some written assignments will be required to completed at home.
This progression route is available to both students that have already gained a Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy at The Shire Beauty Training Group as well as for those who have completed their qualification with another training provider.
